BRING YOUR OWN CLOTHING EMBROIDERY WORKSHOP
Beginner + intermediate friendly! Bring a garment or three from home to embroider on! Join us for a cute night of crafting and new friends.

Choose 3 embroidery designs - Beatles, Moths, Butterflies, Flies, Fish and miscellaneous bugs (stick to a theme or mix-n-match! Over 20 designs to choose from!) We will also be providing blank water soluble sticker paper for anyone who would prefer to draw their own embroidery designs.
A speedy intro to embroidery - learn seven basic stitches, create your own fabric cheat-sheet with all seven stitches, a mini historic embroidery spiel and info on working with water soluble sticker paper. (Anyone who took the "Painting with Thread" or an experienced embroider will skip over this part and jump right into the project!)
Time to work - we will guide you on hooping your own clothing and beginning your projects
White fabric will be provided for those that wish to collage all three of their chosen designs on one embroidery hoop to create a wall-hanging art peice OR create three patches to cut and sew on to wherever your heart desires!
Kit includes: embroidery hoop, practice fabric, embroidery floss, hand needle, three pre-printed designs on water soluble paper, embroidery floss, and a needle
Optional things to bring: Embroidery scissors, special embroidery floss you would like to use, snacks + any beverages you would like (byob) (We understand life is busy and you might need to bring a meal to enjoy during the workshop)
TIP:
When choosing garments to embroider on, stay away from super stretchy fabrics and athletic fabrics. Denim, cotton and woven fabrics are best!
